Obikels Creations stemmed from its founder, Kelechi Precious Obichukwu’s passion for crochet. “With each stitch a world of creativity unfolded, and it wasn’t long before friends and family were clamouring for their handcrafted fashion pieces, “ said Kelechi.

With a keen eye for colour, texture and form, Kelechi began experimenting with different yarns and techniques, pushing the boundaries of crochet and challenging traditional notions of the craft.

Her signature style characterised by the single crochet stitch walked on the back loop popularly called ribbing. What once resided in the realm of cosy blankets and scarves evolved into intricate tops, statement dresses and even avant-garde accessories such as bucket hats and berets.

Obikels Creations is currently looking to collaborate with local and international designers. Beyond the glamorous world of fashion, Obikels remains committed to supporting sustainable practices and ethical production. Her designs often incorporate recyclable materials, and the brand is built on a foundation of social responsibility.

Today Obikels is more than just a crochet designer; she is a visionary who has redefined the perception of handmade fashion in her own way.
