1. New Opportunity: Liverpool Marketplace, Mexico
Overview: Liverpool, one of Mexico’s leading department store retailers and one of Latin America’s largest retail ecosystems, is offering selected UK brands the opportunity to sell through its curated, invitation-only marketplace. With more than 200 million monthly online visits, Liverpool provides access to a large consumer market and an opportunity for premium UK brands to establish a presence in Mexico.
The opportunity is particularly relevant to fashion and textile businesses operating in womenswear, menswear, kidswear, footwear, activewear, dresses, suits and extended sizes, as well as lifestyle products.
The cross-border model is designed to minimise operational complexity. Brands can retain their inventory in the UK, while a dedicated logistics partner manages catalogue integration, customs clearance, international shipping, fulfilment and delivery to Mexican customers. Brands do not need to establish a local business entity or manage Mexican tax registrations, and local returns management can help reduce costs.
Exclusive offer: Eligible businesses can benefit from the following incentives:
- Small brands: 100% waiver of the setup fee and three months free of monthly software-as-a-service (SaaS) fees.
- Medium brands: 50% discount on the setup fee, alongside standard monthly SaaS incentives.
When: Applications and participation are subject to Liverpool’s invitation-only marketplace selection process.
Deadline: No closing date has been specified.
