Fox have produced handmade umbrellas in the UK since 1868 and have built a reputation for excellence, skill and superb craftsmanship. Today quality and attention to detail are still the hallmark of a Fox umbrellas. They were the first manufacturer to use Nylon instead of silk for umbrella canopies after they had been introduced to Nylon by the military during World War II. Fox Umbrellas have supplied to the English and Japanese Royal families and also the late President of the USA J.F. Kennedy. Fox Umbrellas make for film companies, television and stage, notably the John Steed umbrella in the Avengers.
All the umbrellas and walking sticks are handmade in England.
