Liberty Fabrics presents Story of Serendipity, a collection inspired by discovery, artistic process and decorative archives. Developed around three narratives, Woven Dream, Enchanted Cabinet and Paper Trail, the collection transforms details found in textiles, ceramics, glass, metalwork and paper into abstracted prints. Through magnification, collage and layered mark-making, Liberty explores texture and materiality while maintaining its signature hand-drawn design approach.

Luxury woollens remain central to the season. Magee Weaving continues to champion its Authentic Donegal heritage, expanding its offer of natural fibre fabrics across pure wool alongside elevated blends incorporating cashmere, alpaca, mohair and silk. Rich surface textures, bespoke colourations and an emphasis on finishing techniques, from brushed to compact pressed qualities, create versatile fabrics suited to tailoring and outerwear while reinforcing the mill's commitment to renewable natural fibres.

Mallalieus builds on its reputation for vertically manufactured British woollens with a collection inspired by the Pennine landscape. Rustic British wools, melange yarns and Shetland checks sit alongside luxurious lambswools, cashmeres and speciality coatings. Classic tweeds, available in multiple weights and finishes, are complemented by bespoke design capabilities and stock-supported qualities.

Abraham Moon & Sons introduces a broader spectrum of cloths spanning lightweight transitional fabrics through to heavyweight outerwear. A notable addition for AW27 is Superfine Merino Lambswool, introduced across jacketing, flannel and coating qualities to deliver enhanced softness, drape and refinement. The collection also expands British Wool constructions, develops new Shetland Ripstop and Transitional Wool Cotton Tweed qualities, and refreshes archive-inspired Heritage designs. Multiple in-house finishing techniques, including mill wash, brushed and vintage soft, offer designers greater flexibility across tailoring and casualwear.

Jacquard specialist Stephen Walters continues to reinterpret classic woven design through technical innovation. For AW27, archive damasks, oversized florals, stripes and checks are reimagined using painterly techniques, photographic processes and refined constructions. Working across fine wool, cotton and silk qualities, the collection highlights the dimensional possibilities of jacquard weaving, where texture and weave structure become integral to pattern expression. Alongside its seasonal collection, the mill continues to prioritise collaborative fabric development and woven-to-order production, supported by responsible manufacturing practices recognised through OEKO-TEX® STeP Level 3 certification and the King's Award for Enterprise.
Across the season, common themes emerge. British and Irish mills are investing in finer natural fibres, expanded finishing capabilities and versatile cloths that bridge tailoring and casualwear. Archive references are interpreted through modern colour, texture and construction, while vertically integrated production, customisation and responsible manufacturing remain central to the value proposition of British textile manufacturing and design for AW27.
