UK responsible design specialist RÆBURN is showing its latest collection of elevated, handcrafted staples at the Welcome Edition Paris showroom from June 23-26.

RÆBURN is a collaborative, creative fashion studio where daily design meets responsible production. The brand’s highly collaborative spirit informs elevated, handcrafted and award-winning products with distinct utilitarian value and purpose. This innovative approach, with an unusual balance of high concept, accessibility and wearability, is applied to menswear, womenswear, luggage and accessories.

The design ethos of RÆBURN has been informed by 3 main principles, ‘RÆMADE, RÆDUCED, and RÆCYCLED.’ From concept to completion, each collection, each garment has been meticulously graded against these values. The RÆMADE ethos in particular pioneers the reworking of surplus fabrics and garments to create innovative and functional pieces. Boasting a highly collaborative spirit that informs elevated, handcrafted products with distinct utilitarian value and purpose. Established as a reaction to the mounting material and inventory crisis, RÆMADE is all about effectively repurposing pre-existing materials, setting the precedent for the messages to be conveyed throughout each category (RÆDUCED, and RÆCYCLED) within the collections.

Dedicated to disrupting the status quo and to constantly challenging practices, RÆBURN is an advocate for elevated, responsible design. Its DNA is infused with collaborative partnerships, each carefully considered in order to engineer better systems to reduce waste, improve knowledge and the uptake of responsible practices across sectors. Creating an accessible portal of responsible design for the whole community.

Key concepts

RÆMADE: Reworks surplus materials, products and artefacts into completely new designs. Each piece is unique and expertly crafted in London.

RÆDUCED: Whether reworking surplus materials, minimising carbon footprint with local manufacturing, or simply producing smaller batches, waste can be RÆDUCED. All garments are produced from 100% organic cotton (GOTS, Standard 100 – OEKO-TEC and OCS 100 certified).

RÆCYCLED: RÆCYCLING pre-existing materials and harnessing green technologies is fundamental to the production process. The RÆCYCLED range uses an innovative yarn spun from recycled PET bottles  (Polyethylene Terephthalate).
