These grants can support paid traineeships or fund new activities in addition to the vital work you are already doing with Discover Creative Careers.
Discover Creative Careers is a UK-wide creative careers programme for young people, designed to break down barriers to creative industries.
Who can apply?
UK creative industry organisations, including SMEs, charities and CICs. Freelancers, sole traders and local authorities can participate as partners, but cannot lead applications.
What can the funding support?
Activities addressing local needs, including networking events, skills bootcamps, paid traineeships, workplace experiences and travel bursaries.
What is ineligible for funding?
Funding cannot support general arts projects without a creative careers focus, activities already funded elsewhere, or resources without direct engagement with young people.
What are the key dates and conditions?
Grants of up to £4,000 support young people aged 11–24. Apply by 30 November 2026 for activities delivered between 1 January and 31 March 2027.
