Second annual Leicester Made takes place in May 2025

The second annualLeicester Madetradeshow and event will be held on 14 May at Athena on Queen St in Leciester, bringing together retail buyers and factories and brands operating in the city.The event aims to highlight Leicester's sustainable and ethical garment factories, showcase local design talent, and create networking opportunities between retailers, designers and manufacturers. It will also feature roundtable discussions, educational experiences, keynote speakers on industry innovations, and NGOs supporting garment makers.The event is set to include:A keynote address from Secretary of State Liz Kendall. A CEO/C-Suite Roundtable will be hosted by Liz Kendall which includes high level decision-makers including John Lyttle, MD of M&SGuest speakers covering a range of topics from ethics, onshoring, technology and sustainabilityOver 30 factories exhibitingA fashion show to highlight new talent from LeicesterDJ and band to close the eventJenny Holloway, CEO of Fashion Enter and the Fashion Technology Academy, said:"Leicester has so much to offer brands with fast-track proximity sourcing and Leicester has the added advantage of having a complete supply chain within one region!
