Emily Carter named in Forbes 30 Under 30 list

UKFT member Emily Carter has been named in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list in the Art and Culture category.
Emily Carter is a great example of a creative entrepreneur that has established a luxury British brand with a distinctive handwriting. She founded her eponymous brand of luxury silk accessories in 2015 and took the plunge to work on her growing business full time in 2020.
Forbes said: “Each design of her eponymous brand is conceived from Carter’s own illustrations using traditional pen and paper. Bootstrapped with $12,000 of her own savings, her accessories have been worn by celebrities like Kate Moss and Angelina Jolie, and are stocked internationally in stores such as Liberty and Selfridges.”
Emily was named as part of the Drapers 30 under 30 list of rising stars in fashion retail earlier this year.
