UKFT's Director of International Business, Paul Alger MBE, has been named as a founding member of the Creative Trade Forum. The forum brings together industry leaders together with Government and strategic partners to help creative industry businesses from across the UK to maximise on export and investment opportunities.
The forum will provide industry-led insight to government, identify barriers to growth, champion UK creative growth, attract investment and help to build stronger international international commercial partnerships.
The creative industries sector added over £145 billion to the economy in 2024 and supported thousands of skilled jobs. UKFT looks forward to being part of the forum as we seek to unlock even more opportunities for the sector on a global scale.
The launch marks an important milestone in delivering the Creative Industries Sector Plan and creating a stronger partnership between industry and government.
