The Luxury Fabric Show introduces expert briefings at its October event

The Luxury Fabric Show, whose exhibitors are all British suppliers offering low minimums, is launching a series of expert briefings during its autumn event next month (14-15 October at The Box Office Studio in Shoreditch, London). These one-hour sessions will cover fabrics and trimmings, the role of fabric in garment production and innovation through embroidery.

The Luxury Fabric Show presents a tightly curated collection of the best suppliers of silk, wool, lace, jacquards, linings, buttons, labels, workshop essentials and more. It is aimed at a broad spectrum of buyers - from established designers to students - specialising in fashion, bridalwear, lingerie, interiors and costumes.

Bernstein & Banleys

First-time exhibitors are Heritage Weavers, the Huddersfield-based wool specialists, and YKK zips, who join, among others, Bridal Fabrics, Laurent Garigue, Bennett Silks, Henry Bertrand, Pongees, Marvic Fabrics, Courtney & Co, Jones Buttons, The National Weaving Company and Bernstein & Banleys.

The show is open 10am to 5pm both days; entry tickets are free, available here.

The free briefings will take place at:

3pm on Wednesday 14 October (with a fashion focus)

9am and 11am on Thursday 15 October (the former with a costume focus).

In addition to exhibitors, speakers will include representatives from The London Embroidery Studio and CMT Studio (formerly Plus Samples).
