The transition to a more circular textile system depends on strong collaboration across the full value chain. As UKFT members continue to respond to increasing regulatory, environmental and commercial pressures, access to trusted reuse and recycling partners is becoming essential.
Our reuse and recycling members provide the infrastructure, expertise and innovation needed to manage textiles beyond the point of sale. From take-back schemes and surplus stock solutions to large-scale sorting, global reuse markets and fibre-to-fibre recycling, these organisations play a critical role in keeping products and materials in circulation for longer.
Collectively, they support UK fashion and textile businesses to reduce waste, recover value from unwanted goods and meet evolving requirements around Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and sustainability reporting. Their services also offer new opportunities to engage customers, protect brand integrity and integrate recycled materials back into production.
This brochure introduces a group of established and emerging specialists working across reuse, recycling and recovery. By partnering with these organisations, UKFT members can take practical steps towards circularity while strengthening both environmental performance and long-term resilience.
UKFT can help members find the right partner for their requirements. Please contact info@ukft.org for guidance and introductions.
