Law No. 2026-602 of 8 July 2026 was published in the Official Journal on 9 July 2026 and introduces new requirements for businesses operating in the textile sector, including fashion brands, online platforms and marketplaces selling products in France.
While some provisions apply immediately from the law’s entry into force, others require further implementing measures before the detailed requirements can be applied in practice.
