Fashion & Textiles Children's Trust celebrates a decade of partnering with Boden in supporting its working parents

The Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust (FTCT) celebrates its decade-long partnership with Boden, supporting the British brand’s working parents and carer employees.

Working together, FTCT and Boden are continuing to help employees navigate some of the financial pressures that can arise when raising a family. Reinforcing Boden's commitment to creating a supportive, family-friendly workplace where people can thrive both professionally and personally, the long-term partnership continues to extend wellbeing beyond the workplace.

Anna Pangbourne, Chief Executive of the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust, said, “We are delighted to celebrate over ten years of FTCT’s partnership with Boden, continuing to support members of its workforce who are parents and carers. The rising cost of living, over that time, has made it harder for many families to cover essentials such as school uniforms, bedding and mobility equipment, making our support more important than ever. FTCT’s grants offer discreet assistance in an anonymous capacity, fulfilling our charitable mission to improve children’s lives during challenging times.”

Charmaine Higgins, Boden People Operations Manager and Charity Lead, said, “We want to give people their best life at work. As a business, we need to make sure we're supporting people in their personal lives as well. This is where it's great that we have FTCT. If we can support employees with the other things that may be worrying them as parents, hopefully that eases some of that pressure, and, we are encouraging them to approach FTCT for a grant if needed.”

The FTCT partnership works alongside Boden’s additional benefits and wellbeing initiatives for its nearly 900 employees, contributing to increased employee engagement, retention and creating a workplace where people feel genuinely supported.

Boden joins fashion and textile brands Marks & Spencer, John Lewis Partnership, John Smedley, Charles Tyrwhitt and NEXT in partnering and supporting their employees through FTCT’s grants and advice.

FTCT offers grants to cover the cost of essential items for children including school uniform, bedding and mobility equipment. It also provides funding towards the cost of therapies where no state support is available.

Since July, 2026, FTCT has given out £85k in grants to support 171 children, with an average grant value of £600 per child, funding items including 120 bundles of clothing and school uniform for the term ahead.
