Upstart Festival is a day of talks, workshops, displays and networking for young people to explore careers in fashion, hosted in the iconic Victoria & Albert museum in South Kensington. The day's events are aimed at young people between the ages of 16 – 26, but all are welcome.
UKFT will have a stand at the event where our team will share expert advice on careers and pathways within fashion and textiles including where to study, what jobs are available, where you could work, and how to stand out to employers.
We'll also deliver a 'Careers in Fashion and Textiles: The Art of Making' talk, where you will learn about the creative and technical making skills behind the fashion and textile industry, and how you can turn be a part of it.
