Register: Workshops on navigating and communicating environmental impacts in fashion and textiles
20/10/2025
UKFT members are invited to register their interest for two upcoming workshops taking place this November in Manchester and London. The sessions will focus on how to understand, navigate and effectively communicate the environmental impacts within fashion and textile supply chains.
- LONDON: 4 November 2025 (10am – 1pm) at The Mills Fabrica, 36-40 York Way, London, N1 9AB
- MANCHESTER: 18 November 2025 (10am – 1pm) at the Shirley Institute, Sorensen Building, Unit 6 Wheel Forge Way, Trafford Park, Manchester, M17 1EH.
UKFT is holding the upcoming workshops in collaboration with the Royal College of Art and Northumbria University.
Each workshop will begin with a light breakfast and coffee, offering time to meet and connect with peers across the industry. A presentation on testing methods used to establish environmental performance will follow, with time for questions and discussion.
The second part of the session will move into smaller discussion areas designed to capture participants’ experiences of current environmental certifications, assessment processes, and regulatory approaches. The insights gathered will help inform ongoing work to support the sector in addressing environmental performance and communication challenges.
These workshops are open to members working across design, sourcing, production, and communication roles. They provide an opportunity to exchange practical knowledge and contribute to shaping effective industry responses.
Places are limited. Please RSVP to this invitation by following this link by Friday 24 October.
