What’s new: British brands at Paris Fashion Week (February-March 2024)

What’s new for the creative group of over 100 British brands and designers exhibiting this season at Paris Women’s Fashion Week? Scroll down to find out more.


 

This season, the British group showing at Paris Women’s Fashion Week from 28 February to 7 March 2024 features over 100 UK brands and designers. Bringing together their creativity and quintessentially British style, the group is presenting their Autumn-Winter 24/25 collections at various tradeshows, showrooms and catwalk shows across the French capital.

With a focus on womenswear and accessories, the brands’ luxurious and creative designs span premium shearling accessories, biodegradable leather bags, elegant gold jewellery, hand-printed streetwear, intricate headwear and much more.

Use the ‘Discover British Brands in Paris’ map to locate UK brands in and around Paris Fashion Week. This downloadable map has been compiled by UKFT with the support of the Department for Business and Trade.

News from British exhibitors

 

Minnessak

Sustainable fashion bag brand Minnessak said: “All our bags are lovingly remade by hand in London, using recycled, repurposed, reclaimed and ‘deadstock’ materials. All our hardware, zips and trimmings are of the highest quality and are also derived from ‘deadstock’. Sustainability is at the heart of our ethos.”

Shaku

Printed silk scarves and accessories brand Shaku‘s latest collection is inspired by the natural world: “The latest collection is a delicate marriage between intricacy and chaos, just like the natural world. Balanced on a precipice, their scares are subtle in their design, but delicate in their execution. Much like the flora and fauna that inspired founder Shakera’s gorgeous designs, our latest scarves are one of a kind.”

Harris Wharf London

London-based luxury womenswear and menswear brand Harris Wharf London focuses on both design and sustainability: “To further reduce our environmental footprint, we use a digital cutting system allowing maximum efficiency in fabric consumption and reducing the fabric waste. Harris Wharf London produces to order, meaning there is little leftover stock.”

Kate Sheridan

Accessory, handbag and womenswear brand Kate Sheridan is introducing its AW24 collection: “Kate Sheridan creates contemporary leather goods and clothing, manufactured in the UK, using vegetable tanned leathers and responsibly sourced high-quality materials. Based in East London, the brand is excited to introduce you to their AW24 collection, photographed in their local neighbourhood of Clapton and in one of their bag makers factories in Margate.”

Lalage Beaumont

Handbag and womenswear brand Lalage Beaumont focuses on preserving tailoring skills in the UK: “Making so close to where our products are designed, enables us to have control and flexibility so that we can offer fast turnaround when required, we are on hand to resolve problems, and most importantly, we know that the workforce producing our products is paid fairly and working in safe conditions. Carbon footprint is obviously also kept to a minimum,” said Lalage Beaumont.

Stephen Jones

British Milliner Stephen Jones explained: “Since 1980, Stephen Jones’s era-defining edge continues to attract a celebrity clientele which includes, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Mick Jagger, and the Princesses. 

Now, as ever, at the forefront of fashion, his beguiling hats routinely grace the most celebrated magazine covers and enliven window displays of the world’s most stylish stores. From runways to race-courses, from pop-promos to royal garden parties, millinery by Stephen Jones adds the exclamation mark to every fashion statement.” 

Blackscore

London-based streetwear brand Blackscore commented: “In 2004, Simeon Farrar fused his fine art roots with fashion, infusing each collection with philosophical depth. Hand-printed in London, his label transforms deadstock into bespoke, sustainable streetwear. Embrace creativity with conscience; redefine fashion with our unique, eco-conscious pieces.”

Rocio

Eco-friendly luxury bag brand Rocio is launching an innovative all-leather design: “This season after almost several years in development we are launching an innovative all leather design. This new “Silhouette” leather collection has been designed to capture the unique form & essence of the Rocio brand. Finished in a luxury biodegradable leather, made in Spain.  

We are also introducing a new “leaf” lock design as a brand device symbolising our roots with nature and sustainability.” 

Métier by Tomfoolery

Gold jewellery brand Métier by Tomfoolery is expanding on several collections: “This season Métier by Tomfoolery expands on their Dala, Tableau, Tesserae, and Diamond Date collections. Based in London, the brand presents signature hand-cut gemstones and sleek diamond looks for luxurious ear adornment, alongside necklaces for layering drama. Discover timeless elegance and craftsmanship within their solid gold designs.”

Gushlow & Cole

Luxury shearling brand Gushlow & Cole reaffirms its commitment to sustainable fashion with its AW24 collection: “The Autumn Winter 24 collection reflects the brand’s commitment to circular design and sustainable fashion, as well as a celebration of a heritage built on 50 years of family craftsmanship in making luxury shearling. The brand’s core styles and colours continue through AW24, creating a loop system where materials are not overstocked, and manufacturing consumption is cut. Gushlow & Cole will aslo introduce limited edition accessories using vintage and repurposed shearling.”

Donna Ida

Womenswear designer Donna Ida has new launches coming up for AW24: “Launched in 2012 by ‘Jean Queen’ Donna Ida, this much-loved brand centres around iconic denim pieces that celebrate every woman’s figure. From statement all-in-ones and premium jeans, to a coveted women’s clothing collection, Donna Ida is a brand to watch, with exciting new launches for AW24.” 

Oyuna

Cashmere brand Oyuna is presenting luxurious womenswear and menswear designs made from soft Mongolian cashmere: “Designed in London and made in Mongolia, OYUNA creates quietly unique designs across womenswear, ready to wear and homeware, in its signature architectural silhouettes and bright hues. We are committed to responsible sourcing of our cashmere, produced in an environmentally friendly way that safeguards the livelihoods of the herding communities and protects the fragile environment in which they live.”

EnShalla

Anglo-Moroccan company EnShalla offers high-end accessories and ready-to-wear: “All our products are hand made to order. We create a new collection each season yet we are able to accommodate clients’ tastes if they don’t find what they are looking for. Changing colours and materials enables us to provide you with a unique EnShalla experience.”
