Christy’s: Heritage meets sustainability
Christy’s, renowned for its classic headwear, introduces new baseball and bucket hats to its collection, adding a modern twist to timeless designs. The brand is also proudly unveiling its Made in England cap collection, manufactured in its own Witney factory, thereby reducing supply chain miles and emphasising sustainability.
Crockett & Jones: Timeless elegance with sustainable practices
Footwear brand Crockett & Jones focuses on expanding its range of smart casual shoes and boots for the AW24 season, catering to the evolving preferences of consumers seeking versatile styles suitable for both work and personal attire. The brand emphasises its long-standing commitment to sustainability, using leather sourced as a by-product of the meat industry and designing shoes and boots with longevity in mind, thus minimising environmental impact.
Derek Rose: Luxury nightwear and local sourcing
Luxury nightwear, loungewear and men’s underwear brand Derek Rose was started in 1926 by CEO Sacha Rose’s grandfather and still owns its own manufacturing based in the UK, where all of its silk products are still made. This season the brand has moved all of its silk printing to the UK and it will now be down the road to its UK factory where all of the silk is manufactured. This has been an excellent move for the firm’s goals to reduce its carbon footprint. With over 80 years of experience making sheepskin and leather footwear, its slippers are made at a family-owned workshop in England. Each slipper can take up to four weeks to make, using only the finest locally sourced sheepskin and cow suede available.
Far Afield: Inspired by nature, committed to sustainability
Far Afield unveils its AW24 collection, ‘Quiet Expedition,’ inspired by the awe-inspiring landscapes of Iceland. The collection reflects Iceland’s unique geological features through its colour palette and design elements. Far Afield’s commitment to sustainability shines through the use of eco-friendly materials and adherence to ethical manufacturing practices, ensuring that each garment is both visually striking and environmentally responsible.
