Upcoming seminars: now free for members

As we strive to be a valuable resource to our members, we have taken the careful decision to offer our seminar programme free of charge to our membership to help them access thought-provoking insight, address critical issues and share success stories.

From today, members will no longer have to pay and those who have already done so for forthcoming events will be reimbursed. Non-members will continue to be charged for attending events.

These free seminars are designed to offer essential business advice, as well as the opportunity to network and share experiences with like-minded professionals in the UK fashion and textiles industry.

Adam Mansell, UKFT chief executive, said: “Opening the doors and removing the barriers is the best thing we can do for our members in the fashion and textiles industry. We look forward to welcoming members to our headquarters at 3 Queen Square in Bloomsbury, London, over the coming season.

“We hope that you can take advantage of these new perks as part of your membership so we can collectively create the right environment for our industry to thrive.”

9^th October: British Textile Trends for AW19
17^th October: Working with agents and distributors
23^rd October: The ethics of fashion
25^th October: Brand identity and intellectual property
30^th October: ShowTalk

Dates for November will be announced shortly.

The two-hour format allows for a roundtable or panel discussion followed by the opportunity for questions and networking. Tickets are now free for UKFT members but booking is required via Eventbrite.
