Toray Textiles Europe Limited (TTEL) is a leading manufacturer of polyester, nylon, and high-performance fabrics. Based at its purpose-built factory in Mansfield, UK, the company designs, develops and manufactures woven and dyed textiles in-house for a wide range of clients across the apparel, automotive, medical, interior, lamination and industrial sectors. 

This week’s UKFT member spotlight is on Toray Textiles Europe Limited (TTEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Toray Industries, Inc., a leading advanced materials producer incorporating fibres and textiles manufacturing.

The company’s 190,000 m²  Mansfield-based site houses fully vertical processes including yarn twisting and texturising as well as in-house loom beam production; water-jet, air-jet and rapier weaving; fabric preparation, dyeing and finishing in widths up to 3.6m.

At the forefront of sustainability, TTEL is compliant with Oeko-tex, Bluesign, GRS and ISO14001 standards. ISO9001 quality management along with an embedded safety culture allow the company to continuously improve workplace processes and procedures.
