UKFT partners with the Textiles Recycling Expo 2025
07/04/2025
UKFT has partnered with the Textiles Recycling Expo, which will take place for the first time in Brussels, Belgium, to become a central platform for innovation, collaboration and education for professionals in the textile recycling industry.
Taking place on 4–5 June 2025 at Brussels Expo, the event will bring together key stakeholders across the supply chain to explore critical developments in textile recycling, sustainability, and circular economy practices.
The textile industry is one of the largest contributors to waste globally. Each year, millions of tonnes of clothing and fabrics are being lost to landfill/incineration or are being exported in regions with lower labour costs, despite the fact that much of this material could be reused or repurposed. By partnering with the Textiles Recycling Expo we aim to expand our impact by supporting initiatives that extend the lifecycle of textiles and promote a circular economy.
