UKFT to strengthen industry collaboration at Textiles Recycling Expo 2026

23/02/2026

UKFT will have a presence at the Textiles Recycling Expo, returning for its second edition on 24–25 June 2026 at Brussels Expo, Belgium, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the fashion and textile sector as it advances towards greater circularity. Registration is free for all attendees.

As consumer expectations, regulatory requirements and sustainability targets continue to reshape the industry, collaboration across the value chain is becoming increasingly important. Retailers, brands, recyclers, manufacturers, technology providers and policymakers each play a role in enabling textile-to-textile recycling, closing material loops and supporting viable circular business models.

By participating in the expo, UKFT will contribute to industry dialogue, share insight from across the sector and support practical progress on the systems, partnerships and infrastructure required to scale textile recycling.

Bringing the industry together

The Textiles Recycling Expo is Europe’s only exhibition and conference dedicated entirely to textile recycling. The event brings together collectors, sorters, recyclers, manufacturers, technology providers and policymakers, alongside growing representation from retail and brand leaders.

UKFT will use its presence at the event to connect with stakeholders across the ecosystem, support knowledge exchange and ensure that the perspectives of the wider UK fashion and textiles industry are reflected in discussions shaping the future of circularity.

Recognising leadership through the Textiles Recycling Awards

Alongside the exhibition and conference, the organisers have launched the Textiles Recycling Awards, recognising achievement across the textile circularity landscape. Among the categories is the Retailer of the Year Award, highlighting progress in circular fashion practices. The deadline for submissions is 13 March.

Isobel Ree, Marketing Manager at the Textiles Recycling Expo, said: “We’re pleased to be collaborating with UKFT to engage more fashion and retail leaders in this important conversation. The Retailer of the Year Award provides an opportunity to recognise companies taking tangible steps towards circular fashion, and we look forward to celebrating them at the expo in June.”
