Founded in 2014 by Emma Macdonald, UKFT member TBCo is a B Corp-certified brand on a mission to create statement pieces that add the finishing touch to your outfits and home. What began with tartan blankets has grown into a range that includes products made from natural and recycled fibres. TBCo is based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

And London-based fashion brand Nobody’s Child, also a UKFT member, is known for its trend-led collections with a focus on sustainability. It creates responsible clothing using lower-impact materials such as organic cotton and recycled fibres. The brand is committed to making fashion that doesn’t cost the Earth.

TBCo X Nobody’s Child collaboration

Born from a shared love of layering, colour and responsible design, the limited-edition knitwear capsule collection, that launches today, blends TBCo’s signature hoods and coordinating scarves with Nobody’s Child’s florals and feminine silhouettes. It is designed for mixing, matching and making a statement.

Embroidery, inspired by vintage pieces from the Nobody’s Child archive has been reimagined by the in-house design team and features across the collection. Soft shades and scalloped trims add a feminine finish, while bold stripes and checkerboard patterns pay homage to TBCo’s artful collections. This joyful collection is made to bring joy to everyday dressing.

The collection comprises of two jumpers, two cardigans, four knitted triangle scarves and two knitted hoods.

Each piece in the collection is accompanied by its very own Digital Product Passport (DPP) which documents the supply chain touch points. Powered by UK tech company Fabacus and traced by Fairly Made, the DPP offers customers insight into the product’s environmental impact and supply chain. By scanning the QR code on the inner label, shoppers can access this information instantly.

TBCo Founder Emma Macdonald on the Partnership

“Nobody’s Child has the same commitment to creating fashion that feels good as well as looking good. Bringing our accessories together with their knitwear felt like such a natural fit. It is a partnership that shows how two brands with shared values can create something fresh and joyful together.”

Describing the spirit of the collection, Emma adds:

“There is a real sense of play in the colours and patterns, but also a focus on pieces you can wear every day without overthinking. It is about creating knitwear and accessories that feel effortless but still have that fun detail that makes you smile when you put them on.”

She continues:

“These designs are made to bring joy to everyday dressing allowing people to layer and experiment with colour blocking or pattern clashing. I want people to feel like they are able to express themselves through wearing these pieces, showing their unique style and feeling great as a result.”
