UKFT member Sabina Savage, a luxury scarf and clothing brand featuring hand-drawn prints, will open the doors of its New Bond Street pop-up store in London on Wednesday 15 November 2023. The brand will present its 2023 Autumn/Winter collection ‘A Tale of Tibet’, alongside many of its signature designs.

Sabina Savage is a UK brand offering luxury scarves, clothing and small accessories featuring prints hand-drawn by founder Sabina Savage. The heritage-inspired illustrations bring to life tales from ancient and medieval history, following the quests of explorers, sultans and medieval beasts. Sabina Savage’s collections are all made in the UK. They include classic silk twill, wool and silk blend scarves, quilted jackets, wool trousers and more.

Sabina Savage said:

“Fantastical stories are woven through each hand-illustrated collection, meandering across continents and delving headfirst into the depths of history. Each detail within a design holds a key to the tale, and every design is a treasure trove of references. The animals in each illustration will gladly narrate to you their story.”

Launched in 2014, the eponymous brand presents two collections each year, Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter. On Wednesday 15 November 2023, Sabina Savage will open the doors of its New Bond Street pop-up store in London, offering the opportunity to discover the 2023 Autumn/Winter collection ‘A Tale of Tibet’ in person.

“This collection is indebted to, and intended as a celebration of, the rich, multi-faceted and endlessly beautiful art and culture of Tibet.

From stories of the mysterious kingdom of Zhangzhung (active from the Iron Age until the year 645), through animism, the Bon religion and ancient Buddhism, to the exquisite beliefs, tales, and creations of more modern times, I have been fortunate enough to study and discover just a little of the extraordinary creativity the culture of Tibet has to offer.

I explored thousands of colourful, detailed mandalas and Thangka paintings, while also delving into the world of the deities and religions which inspired them.”
