UKFT member The Cotton Textile Company (TCTC) is a UK-based textile development, sourcing and production specialist, with offices in Brentwood, Essex and a store in Blakeney, North Norfolk for their Creek Lifestyle brand. With over 40 years of collective industry experience, the team delivers an end-to-end production service and prides itself on quality, reliability and supply chain integrity. The company was founded in 2013 by Richard King and Sam Webb.
TCTC can be bought in to develop one product or a collection, and all of the company’s services can be cherry picked to suit the client’s needs. Its clients range from high street and lifestyle fashion brands to haute couture, from leading luxury car and yacht brands, to prestige sports events and venues, with a product range spanning socks, headwear and both performance sportswear and knitwear, as well as home textiles for every room of the house.
What TCTC does
360° Design and Manufacturing
- TCTC offers a full-service supply chain solution, including:
- Design (CAD visuals, tech packs)
- Fabric, trim, and label sourcing
- Sampling (prototype and pre‑production “gold seal”)
- Technical and compliance testing
- Production in the UK, Europe, Turkey and further afield if required
- Quality control, bespoke packaging and fulfilment
- Product portfolio spans towels, bespoke clothing, socks, home textiles and accessories for fashion, lifestyle, and sport brands
TCTC also operates an in-house service focused on customised prints and embroidery.
TCTC’s bespoke product line includes:
- Branded socks
Lead time: 8-12 weeks
Minimum order: 1,200 pairs
TCTC produces socks for a range of businesses, including sports clubs, breweries, tourist attractions and more. Knitted bespoke cotton and bamboo socks are available in a range of styles: classic crew, sports, trainer, yoga/Pilates, and invisible liners.
- Towels
Lead time: 8-10 weeks
Minimum order: 100 pieces (beach towels)
Bespoke towels for bar, beach, bath, golf, and other sports, as well as Hammam towels, in 100% cotton in a selection of weights. Choose from traditional Jacquard woven or digitally printed towels in cotton terry or velour finish, plus different weave effects or embroidery and branded care labels.
- Bespoke garments
Lead time: 14 weeks
Minimum order: usually around 300 pieces
The in-house production team can help create a fashion, streetwear, sportswear or uniform collection, or a single style. The garment type, quantity and budget will determine if TCTC works with partners in Portugal, Turkey, or Bangladesh.
- Scarves and beanies
Lead time: 6-8 weeks
Minimum orders: 50 pieces for acrylic beanies and scarves
Branded beanies and scarves are available with embroidery, sew on patches and hem tags. The most popular scarves and beanies are 100% acrylic, and we can provide British-made accessories knitted from natural fibres. Lightweight woven silk, cotton or polyester scarves are also available.
Responsible sourcing
TCTC maintains a responsible sourcing policy, working only with factories that hold SMETA or BSCI certifications, or meet EU standards. They regularly visit partners and are progressing toward B Corp accreditation and are Living Wage employers. In 2022 TCTC added a textile shredding service, enabling their customers to recycle used textiles and divert materials back into fibre or industrial use.

Creek Lifestyle is TCTC’s own brand of homeware and clothing which is sold from its shop in Blakeney, North Norfolk and online. Products are sourced in the UK where possible and the collection includes beach towels, blankets and throws, kitchen textiles, mugs and tableware, as well as a range of leisurewear.
