Apprenticeships Available in Scotland
The Modern Apprenticeship helps employees develop the skills and knowledge they need to work in the fashion and textiles sector. With different levels available, it can be used as an entry point or progression route for employees.
The SCQF level 5 qualification has an emphasis on skills that support the production of ‘heritage goods’. Level 6-7 focuses on the production skills used in fashion and textiles sub-sectors, and is suitable for employees in roles such as weaver, knitter, sewing machinist and technologist, designer, and laundry/dry-cleaning worker.
