.
The programme, which starts later this month (September 2022) offers a great way to progress into a career in the fashion and textile sector.
UKFT took part in a recruitment event this week for the new Fashion, Textiles and Manufacturing Occupational Traineeship at Blackburn College this week, alongside these local employers. Here, employers outlined what a career in fashion and textile manufacturing entails, progression route routes and opportunities, as well as what the programme offers.
Recruitment for the scheme is still open. If you would like to get involved, please contact celia.thornley@ukft.org
