ScreenSkills has introduced a new suite of training modules, as part of the Discover! Creative Careers program, designed to help careers advisors better understand pathways across the creative industries and its many sub-sectors.

The modules are designed to provide an overview of the creative industries for those delivering careers advice, to allow them to confidently advise and guide young people into careers that align with their interests and skillsets. This responds to a growing need for improved awareness of creative career pathways across the UK.

UKFT contributed to the fashion and textile sections of the modules, ensuring they accurately reflect the breadth of opportunities across the sector.

These modules offer a valuable resource to help strengthen engagement with education providers and careers advisors, and to promote a clearer understanding of the diverse roles available across the UK’s creative industries.
