Social & Labor Convergence Program: UK brand meeting on 29 April

09/04/2026

The Social & Labor Convergence Program (SLCP) is hosting a UK brand meeting in London on 29 April 2026, in collaboration with Intertek.

The session brings together brands, along with the SLCP team and Cascale, to talk through current challenges around due diligence and responsible business conduct. It is also a chance to meet in person, compare approaches and learn from others working through similar issues.

What to expect

The agenda focuses on practical insight rather than theory. An experienced SLCP brand will share how they are using the framework in practice, including what has worked well and where challenges still sit.

There will also be an update from SLCP on current developments, including what to expect from the next version of the Converged Assessment Framework (CAF), which is due to launch later this year.

About the CAF

The CAF is a shared assessment tool developed by SLCP signatories to evaluate working conditions in facilities. Instead of relying on multiple proprietary audits, it brings everything into one framework.

The aim is straightforward: collect consistent, reliable social and labour data that can actually be used. For brands, this supports a more efficient approach to human rights due diligence, while reducing duplication across supply chains.

A space to compare and discuss

Alongside the main session, there will be time to talk openly with other brands. This is often where the most useful conversations happen, whether that is sharing practical solutions or simply understanding how others are approaching the same pressures.
