Member spotlight: Roberts Recycling wins King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade

UKFT member Roberts Recycling has won the King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade for the third time.
The award recognises the company’s growth and continued expansion in global exports of UK textiles.
Roberts Recycling co-director Simon Roberts said: “It’s an incredible honour that reflects the dedication of our entire team, suppliers, and the trust of our international partners who share our commitment to sustainability and circular fashion.”
He added: “We are delighted to receive the King’s Award for Enterprise for the third time. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and passion of our entire team, and to the partners and customers around the world who believe in our mission. Our growth in international trade reflects a shared commitment to sustainability, and we’re proud to play a part in reducing global textile waste while supporting communities.”
In 2025, 197 businesses representing a diverse range of sectors, have been recognised by His Majesty The King as among the best in the country, highlighting the ambition, ingenuity, and success of our diverse business community.
A total of 199 awards have been issued, with 116 businesses recognised for International Trade, 46 for Innovation, 27 for Sustainable Development and 10 for Promoting Opportunity Through Social Mobility.
