NAW25: Fashion Enter offers apprenticeships, ethical factory tours and seminars

To celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, UKFT Education Partner Fashion Enter Ltd (FEL) outlines the sector-specific apprenticeships on offer in fashion and textiles, and additional training opportunities available from sites in London, Leicester and Wales.

Fashion Enter NAW25

Fashion Enter Ltd (FEL) is an award-winning social enterprise that operates its Fashion Technology Academy provision in Haringey, Islington, Leicester and Newtown, Wales. FEL is unique as the training provision operates within an audited ethical garment manufacturing factory that produces collections for Gymshark, N Brown and the Very Group. FEL also supports over 70 start-up and scale-up fashion brands. FEL has recently expanded into repairs and works directly with top brands such as Patagonia, Lululemon and Rapha with their partnership with the United Repair Centre.

FEL has received industry recognition for its achievements including the Sustainability Champion award from Drapers in March 2024 and the Fashion Supplier award in November 2024.

  • Level 3 Garment Maker 
  • Level 2 Sewing Machinist 
  • Level 3 Fashion & Textiles Pattern Cutter 
  • Level 4 Fashion & Textiles Product Technologist 
  • Level 5 Bespoke Cutter and Tailor 

 

Other supporting apprenticeships that could be used by fashion and textile employers 

FEL has a successful Factory Uncovered recognised Quality Licence Scheme-approved CPPD programme that has been established for over 12 years. Available to all Further Education (FE) and Higher Education (HE) institutions, banking sector and retail brands, this deep dive into ethical garment manufacturing provides attendees with a unique insight into why manufacturing in the UK is sustainable and ethical. 

FEL also undertakes repair classes for Local Authorities, direct to consumers, influencers (TikTok) and for Away Day Management training sessions for organisations .

Ethical factory tours and seminars

FEL provides educational tours and seminars to schools, colleges, universities, international tours, industry (which includes such as Pangaia, AllSaints, Boden, Oliver Bonas, M&S, Sainsburys, The Very Group, ASOS and Tesco) plus Financial Investment Institutions. 

The seminars are suitable for all areas of fashion including buying, merchandising, design, garment tech, pattern cutting, sourcing, careers advice, ethical, sustainability, technology, and business and economics students or anyone just interested in how the fashion business works.
