UKFT is accompanying a group of 27 British textile companies to Milano Unica from 20-22 January 2026, including leading UK mills, manufacturers, cloth merchants and textile design companies. Scroll down to find out more.
The UK Fashion and Textile Association (UKFT) will return to Milano Unica from 20-22 January 2026 and will accompany a group of 27 British textile companies. Taking place at the Rho Fieramilano in Milan, Italy, the show has become a key event in the international textile calendar for high-end fabrics and accessories since launching in 2005. UKFT’s work in Milan is supported by the Worshipful Company of Clothworkers and the Department for Business and Trade (DBT).
Both the UK and Italian markets share a keen interest in quality and heritage, which Milano Unica will highlight through a carefully curated exhibitor line-up. The show will offer a platform for international buyers to explore the UK textile sector’s tradition and innovation, and to discover classic suiting fabrics as well as speciality textiles and natural fibres such as wool and cashmere.

This season, British Wool, the Campaign for Wool and Woolmark are working in partnership with UKFT to highlight the enduring value and versatility of wool. The UK has a long-established reputation for excellence in weaving and knitting, underpinned by specialist skills, advanced manufacturing capability and a deep understanding of fibre performance.
British manufacturers continue to produce high-quality wool fabrics and garments that meet the expectations of discerning buyers in both domestic and international markets. Increasingly, UK firms are choosing to incorporate British wool into their collections, drawn by its distinctive handle, natural resilience and inherent performance characteristics, including breathability, durability and thermal regulation.
This renewed focus reflects growing interest in provenance, material authenticity and responsible sourcing. British wool offers a strong narrative of traceability and craftsmanship, supporting the development of products that combine technical performance with a clear sense of origin and value. Representatives from Campaign for Wool and British Wool will be present on the UKFT stand at Milano Unica.
The UKFT stand will be in the ‘Ideabiella’ area (Hall 20 B20), offering buyers the opportunity to browse a selection of fabrics from British exhibitors.

Alfred Brown, founded in 1915, weave fine worsted cloth from their mill based in Leeds. Known for British style and an eye for detail, their Merino wool and blended cloth is suitable for tailoring, jackets and coats. Alfred Brown also offers seasonal and stock-supported collections.

Based in New Mill, Huddersfield since 1899, Bower Roebuck is a leading textile manufacturer renowned for producing some of the most luxury English fabrics and designs. Supplying wool, natural blends and sustainable tailoring fabric to luxury customers and brands globally. The creative design team offer a service to customers who wish to develop their own thoughts into exclusive designs and fabrics. On-site sampling facilities allow Bower Roebuck to quickly produce woven loom trials and samples to meet tight deadlines.
Brisbane Moss: Hall 16 G05
For over 150 years Brisbane Moss have been at the forefront of the manufacture of Corduroy, Moleskin and Fustian fabrics. To meet an ever changing demand they offer Europe’s largest stock supported range of Corduroy, Moleskin and Cotton fabrics. Since 1858 their philosophy has and will always be to treat customers, partners and the environment with respect.
British Millerain: Hall 16 F14
British Millerain is a Lancashire-based manufacturer of waxed cotton, fashion coatings, cotton laminates and dry finish textiles and a world leader in the manufacture of specialist textiles for Outerwear. The company has strong sustainable credentials – including organic cotton, BCI, PFC finishing, sustainable vegetable wax innovation.
City by Liberty Fabrics: Hall 20 A06
Liberty Fabrics has been at the cutting-edge of design and decorative arts since 1875 and now forms an international wholesale business, working with retailers, brands and designers across womenswear, menswear, childrenswear and homewares. Designed by an in-house team in the heart of London, printing takes place at its mill in northern Italy, which uses both innovative digital technology and age-old techniques.
Clissold: Hall 20 C17
Joseph H Clissold is proud of its heritage of manufacturing fabrics that are Made in England. Joseph H Clissold offers a seasonal collection – following the latest innovations in colour and fabric technology – alongside a collection of stock-supported fabrics that are available in Extrafine Merino and Super 160’s Merino wool. Based in the heart of Yorkshire, Joseph H Clissold embraces the latest technology and innovations to create cloths that will meet the needs of tomorrow.
Fernmoor Hall 20 A23
Established in 1968, Fernmoor relaunched with a collection of ladieswear fabrics for Spring-Summer 2026. Designed and manufactured at Glendale Mills in Yorkshire, England, the new collection sits alongside sister brands Bower Roebuck and Savile Clifford. The collections are grounded in design, creativity and sustainability, offering beautiful fabrics suitable for both womenswear and menswear luxury apparel.
Halley Stevensons: Hall 16 E10
Halley Stevensons specialises in waxed cotton and weatherproof fabrics for the apparel and luggage markets. With a consumer demand for sustainable solutions, Halley Stevensons presents an expansive range full of variety including new performance naturals. Discover a collection of cotton with character!
Harris Tweed Hebrides: Hall 20 B24
The Fabric of Fashion. Harris Tweed, handwoven in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland from pure virgin wool, is the fabric of choice wherever quality and provenance are valued. For more than 100 years, the skills used to create Harris Tweed have been passed down through the generations. Today, it is at the cutting edge of fashion and design – unique, flawless and beautiful. Governed by the 1993 Harris Tweed Act of Parliament, which safeguards the fabric, recognised by the distinctive Orb stamp, the artisan manufacturing process is protected and cannot be undertaken anywhere beyond the Outer Hebrides.

John Foster is world famous for quality worsted and mohair apparel fabrics. Established in 1819, today the business continues to weave iconic British cloths in its Yorkshire mill with time-honoured skills passed down generations. Fabrics feature more than 200 years of history, heritage and tradition, in stock-supported bunches and seasonal collections.
Joshua Ellis: Hall 20 D12
Established in 1767, Joshua Ellis celebrates a distinguished heritage of British manufacturing with a steadfast reputation for luxury and quality. Renowned the world over for producing the finest handcrafted cashmere and woollen cloth and scarves, Joshua Ellis products are highly sought after by luxury fashion houses and exported from the company’s Yorkshire mill to over 23 countries.
Kynoch of Scotland: Hall 20 D11
“Spun from the heart, woven from the soul” Kynoch’s Collections are creative, innovative, and rich in textile history and expertise. They reflect the unique influences that have been woven into the business over centuries. The family owned company is delighted to see its cloth being enjoyed from international catwalks, to Sunday afternoon strolls. Kynoch is proud to bring together the heart and soul of textiles in the British Isles, from Scotland to Yorkshire.
Laurent Garigue: Hall 12 C19
Laurent Garigue high quality sustainable fabrics have been manufactured in Yorkshire since 1947. Supplying Haute Couture houses and leading designers worldwide, the Garigue name has been synonymous with high fashion fabrics since 1947. Laurent Garigue is extremely proud of its British heritage and most of the firm’s cloth is woven, dyed and finished in Yorkshire and Scotland.

For over 100 years, Linton Tweeds has been designing and weaving couture fabric for the world’s leading fashion houses at its mill in Carlisle, UK. Linton Tweeds’ fabrics continue to push the envelope of what tweed can be. Each season, its textile design team crafts a collection of new finely woven fabrics constructed with unique yarns from all over the world, woven in limitless patterns, finished in a vast variety of techniques.
Magee Weaving: Hall 20 A40
Magee 1866 is a fifth-generation Irish family business with over 150 years’ experience in designing, weaving and tailoring luxurious fabrics and clothing in Donegal. Natural fibres like wool, cashmere, flax and alpaca are central to their collections. These natural fibres are renewable and biodegradable, coming from all-natural sources for a rich, soft feeling that can’t be imitated. Their design philosophy has always promoted the concept of ‘slow fashion’ through timeless collections, producing seasonal men and women’s lifestyle collections.
Mallalieus: Hall 20 C20
Since 1863 Mallalieus has been creating and producing beautiful woollen fabrics that are admired across the world. Based in Delph, a charming village on the border of Yorkshire and Lancashire, Mallalieus draws on the centuries-old tradition of British textile manufacturing. Independent, family-owned and fully vertical, the mill specialises in working closely with clients to develop superb woollen cloths for apparel and interiors, plus fine woollen accessories such as scarves and throws.
Marling & Evans Hall 20 D28
Marling & Evans, a key name in British sartorial excellence around the world, producing refined fabrics in the Huddersfield textile district, Yorkshire, for more than two hundred years, is a presence of the highest calibre for the whole exile industry and for sartorial elegance.
Moon: Hall 20 A38
Established in 1837, MOON has continued to fuse traditional craftsmanship and methodologies with the latest technology to create authentic wool fabrics and accessories for leading fashion brands and interior designers worldwide. As one of a select few in the UK who can perform all processes at a single site – from dyeing the wool and making their own yarn, to weaving and finishing the fabric – MOON boasts remarkable versatility and the ability to control each process to meet exacting standards.
Mr Grieves Originals: Hall 12 Design 05
Based in London, Mr. Grieves Originals specialises in woven and printed textile designs for the fashion and home industry.
Pongees: Hall 12 C12
Pongees is a leading supplier of high quality silks and has been working with the very best fashion, bridalwear, lingerie and interiors designers, as well as costumiers and tailors, across the world for more than 90 years. Pongees offers an extensive range of colours in each of its collections, which are all stock supported. As such the minimum order is just 1metre and delivery is fast. Fabrics include marocain, taffeta, georgette, sand washed spun silk and stretch satin. These include pastels and deeper tones and some of the collections now include more than 100 shades.
