Get involved in surveys, workshops and consultations
The more evidence we can gather to back up what we know the more impact we can have. Please get involved with our fact and data finding activities. You may be invited to contribute to specific activity or we may communicate opportunities to contribute through our newsletters. Keep an eye out.

A collective voice that makes an impact
UKFT’s policy and lobbying activity is built on collaboration across the membership, covering the entire UK fashion and textile supply chain. On almost all issues, members are aligned, especially where we are pressing for approaches that create a level playing field. Where differences of view arise, they are rare and resolved through constructive dialogue.
This consensus is achieved through constant engagement. Informal conversations, regular webinars and seminars, plus quarterly roundtables all provide opportunities for members to share insights and shape our positions. This ensures that every voice is heard and that our approach reflects the sector as a whole.
Our approach is then guided by the knowledge and experience of our team, strengthened by the input of members. Our board also plays a key role and its membership reflects the wider sector, ensuring that decisions and guidance are representative of the collective priorities of our members.
For members, this means being part of a trusted forum that brings weight to their views. For policymakers, it means hearing from a sector that speaks with clarity and unity, giving us an effective, credible voice in shaping the policy landscape.
