UKFT member Söder Studio is a British contemporary label crafting elevated wardrobe essentials from certified organic and recycled materials. Its range features 100% GOTS certified organic cotton as well as Oeko-Tex certified linen and Tencel, also sourcing buttons from UKFT member Courtney & Co. Söder Studio is firmly committed to working towards a circular business model and reducing its waste production.

Addison Soeder, Söder Studio’s Founder and Designer commented: “Söder Studio is a modern wardrobe purposefully designed with integrity. We create elevated wardrobe staples that are both engineered to last a lifetime and use only certified organic or recycled materials.”

The brand is inspired by traditional workwear, said Addison. “Drawing inspiration from functional, traditional workwear and paired with contemporary silhouettes, each of our garments are intentional and timeless. We design each collection to seamlessly transition between seasons, with garments integrated into a timeless aesthetic.”

Söder Studio is launching custom-made and alteration services, as it aims to make its clothing more intentional. Addison explained: “We are launching custom-made and alterations services, giving customers the opportunity to have garments tailored specifically to them. Our alterations service allows for small tweaks and adjustments, such as changes to hem and sleeve lengths, on any made-to-order garment. When a garment is tailored to the customer, no matter how minor the adjustment, it feels more personalized and extends the life of each garment.”

She added: “Our full custom-made service provides an opportunity for customers to work on a design that is entirely bespoke to their needs.  Each brief is unique and allows for Söder Studio design and tailor a garment to the client. Some of our past custom-made garments have been a bespoke ‘spacesuit’ for a MIT researcher and a bespoke embroidered jacket for a photographer.”

Söder Studio showcased its latest collections at its summer pop-up at 16-18 Brockley Cross in London from 11 to 28 July 2024.
