Member spotlight: Post Carbon Lab pioneers regenerative dyes transforming CO₂ into colour

23/06/2025

UKFT member Post Carbon Lab is reshaping the future of textile colour and finish through microbiology. This month, the team is showcasing their work through two key events, aimed at industry professionals, designers, manufacturers and anyone curious about regenerative colour techniques. Scroll down to find out more.

Post Carbon Lab is a biotech company that creates climate-positive dyes, pigments and coating using microbes that absorb carbon dioxide as they grow. The result is carbon-negative, petrochemical-free and non-toxic colour system that integrates seamlessly into existing manufacturing processes.

Post Carbon Lab offers a revolutionary alternative to synthetic dyeing, that decarbonise and defossilise its supply chain.
