Working predominantly with natural fibres in beautiful melange shades, the collection of rustic British wools and Shetlands are complemented by softer lambswool and cashmere qualities. The company has an extensive range of colour woven and piece dyed qualities ranging from fine suiting, dress and jacket weights to heavier coatings, including some specialist fabrics such as Elysian and Doeskin.
Lisa Holmes, Head Designer at Mallalieus, explains the inspiration behind the company’s AW 21/22 apparel fabric collection: “Our Autumn/Winter 21/22 collection features our signature British wools, Shetlands and lambswools in traditional herringbones, gunclubs and Glenurquharts: these are enhanced with vibrant tartanesque checks and novelty fabrics. Fluid lambswool and cashmere flannels in classic shades and designs are teamed with specialist coatings for a more urban minimalist look. We offer stock supported ranges in British wool and Shetland as well as lambswool scarves in traditional and contemporary checks.”
Mallalieus of Delph also offers a bespoke design service for clients at the leading edge of interior design worldwide. Drawing on more than 150 years of textiles-making heritage, Mallalieus can create many hundreds of options.
Renowned also for its luxurious hand-finished lambswool and cashmere scarves, stoles and throws, Mallalieus collaborates with some of the most prestigious brands and retailers to create bespoke items for their collections. In addition, the company also offers a stock-supported range of scarves in traditional and contemporary checks, all manufactured in Valley Mill, Delph.
