Lion and Leopard for British Textile Week

LION & LEOPARD is a design studio specialising in surface-pattern for the baby, kids’, floral and Christmas sectors. The brand offers, highly original, hand-crafted, trend-led designs, created with care and love.
Lion & Leopard began at the kitchen table somewhere in the early 90’s in Leicestershire, where cousins Caroline and Georgie’s Nana would supply them with a kaleidoscopic selection of felt-tip pens (the good ones which didn’t run dry and were always put back in the case with the right lid on!).
Fast forward a few decades, a few design awards and 20 collective years of experience designing in-house for high-street retailers and boutique brands, Lion & Leopard was born.
Caroline left her job and set to work a week before the world went into lockdown in March 2020, and Georgie jumped aboard soon after. The portfolio grew organically and they now have ten experienced designers regularly contributing to the collection.
Georgie comments: “Our first online tradefair, Blueprint, was a roaring success in July and we look forward to launching our latest collection on September 22-24th through virtual meetings via the Blueprint tradefair.”
AW21 trends have been carefully curated by Caroline and Georgie, featuring seasonless designs, which would fit into AW and SS alike, highlighting the importance of the social trend for slowing down the process of fashion. “We absolutely love what we do and we can’t wait to share it with you!”
