Onshoring, ethics and innovation in the spotlight at Leicester Made 2025

Leicester Made takes place next week on Wednesday 14 May 2025, bringing together UK fashion brands, manufacturers, retailers and designers committed to building a more ethical and sustainable future for the UK manufacturing industry. Featuring over 60 exhibitors, as well as panels, keynotes, live demonstrations and networking opportunities, it offers a timely platform for brands and retailers looking to reshape how and where they produce.
The opening discussion will feature Jenny Holloway, CEO of UKFT Education Partner Fashion-Enter; Simon Platts, Co-Founder of SP &KO Limited; Peter Chandler, Head of Economic Regeneration at Leicester Council and Cllr Elly Cutkelvin, Deputy City Mayor at Leicester Council.
The day will also feature a panel discussion on transparency, fair wages and responsible sourcing in UK manufacturing, elevator pitches from Leicester’s Makers, sessions on technology, innovation and sustainability, plus a CEO Roundtable chaired by MP Liz Kendall.
There is the opportunity to explore The T-Shirt Factory with Kornit Digital to see digital production in action and a fashion show Hosted By Leicester Fashion Week.
