Founded in 2020, by Jolene Crawford and Mil Stricevic, UKFT member Irregular Sleep Pattern is an independent Glasgow-based brand creating bedding and sleepwear designed at the intersection of art and utility.

Known for their playful graphics, sustainability led-approach and unique way of storytelling through print, the design duo has unveiled Dreamstalk, a vivid garden inspired motif that reflects their signature blend of creativity and environmental consciousness.

The Dreamstalk features across a curated range of products, including garden aprons, robes, T-shirts, notebooks and chocolate bars. The design intertwines symbols of gardening tools and communicates a powerful message about sustainability, gratitude and the relationship with the natural world.

Mil Stricevic, Irregular Sleep Pattern Creative Director says:

”The Dreamstalk design is inspired by the fragile nature of the relationship between humans and the natural world: The pattern combines symbols of familiar and lost gardening tools, produce and participants and considers how we can garden with gratitude, respect and love.”

“Our prints also feature a simple, infinitely repeated message which seems as timely now as ever: you reap what you sow. It’s optimistic – an appeal to people to do the right thing, joyfully.”

To mark the launch, Jolene and Mil joined V&A Dundee staff and volunteers for a community planting day as part of a wider garden refresh around the iconic waterfront museum. The redesign introduced hundreds of new plants and coincided with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) National Gardening Week.

“This is a really special collaboration, and we’re thrilled with the designs that Mil and Jolene have created for us. Their sustainability credentials, their unique, colourful, garden-inspired graphics and their ‘irregular’ way of doing things means they’re a perfect fit for a partnership with V&A Dundee.”
