IMPACT+ Network: Applications to the Impact Innovation Fund now open

Academic, industrial, business, third sector and government organisations can now apply to the Impact Innovation Fund to receive a share of £475,000 to support their innovative research projects up to the value of £100,000 across a duration of 3 to 12 months.

The IMPACT+ Network at Northumbria University is looking to fund short to mid-term cross-disciplinary research projects aiming to address the challenges in measuring environmental impact across the fashion and textile sector (materials, manufacturing, consumer use, end-of-life). The Impact Innovation Fund will award a total of £475,000.

The fund is aimed at four priority areas that reflect current gaps in knowledge, unmet industry needs or inadequate datasets, including:

  • Beyond Lifecycle Analysis (LCA)
  • Transparent Pathways
  • Circular Knowledge Systems
  • Equitable Partnerships

To apply to the fund, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Be a UK-based member of the IMPACT+ Network (Click here to become a member. Joining the IMPACT+ Network is free of charge.)
  • Applicants can be academic, industrial, business, third-sector or government organisations.
  • Non-academic organisations must have an academic partner to apply.

Deadline: Thursday 30 May 2024, 4pm.
