Hardy & Parsons: ‘Let us enjoy life’ at Pitti Uomo June 22
13/06/2022
UK exhibitor Hardy & Parsons is presenting a reinvigorated collection of belts, key fobs, braces, wallets and much more, all handmade in England, at this season’s Pitti Uomo in Florence in June 22, embracing the theme of ‘let us enjoy life’ for 2023.
The brand believes that a successful, desirable and greener product is created when the skills of both the designer and the craftsman come together using eco-friendly vegetable tanned leather which has been used for centuries to produce durable goods.
Hardy & Parsons’ design studio in Chelsea and its team of Master Saddlers have been doing precisely that since 2002; with 12 different bridle leather colours, 2 suede leather colours, 12 different thread colours and over 300 different webbing colour options as well as a very wide choice of buckles and finishes, the choice is truly amazing. The brand’s portfolio of products consists of: belts, key fobs, braces, wallets, card holders, dog collars and leads, tote bags, conical flasks as well as specially designed and hand crafted bespoke products.
Memories
Who can ever forget the colourful King of Reggae? He was the inspiration behind the brand’s collection of iconic braces and belts including the traditional snake buckle which traces its origin back to the 19th Century.
Anyone for tennis? The umbrella, vintage Stan Smith’s, a bottle of Betty Stogs and of course the Bredon belt. Classic and relaxing and never out of place.
A day at the races. The essentials to celebrate a successful wager. The umbrella, a wool knitted tie, a glass of champagne the keyfob and of course the Bredon belt. Colourful, stylish yet traditional.
Vintage cars, every gentleman’s passion. The must have: the umbrella and the key fob, a pair of suede desert boots, the owner’s vintage car ties, celebrating the Montecarlo’s Mini Cooper triumph, the original Land Rover, the iconic MGB and of course the Bredon belt. Never out of place whether driving at a vintage car event or simply walking down the Kings Road in Chelsea.
Cords, cords cords: The quintessential English gentleman’s wardrobe invariably has a number of bright coloured corduroy trousers, or “cords” as they are commonly known as. Whether worn with our bridle leather Upton belt in chestnut and a Harris Tweed 8 piece baker boy cap or with a very stylish Fedora and a navy bridle leather Worcester belt, both are a perfect complement to a gentleman’s style and individuality.
