France B2B EPR reporting: Proposed changes in Bill No. 1315
20/10/2025
France continues to expand its environmental legislation with a new proposal that could affect B2B invoicing practices across multiple sectors. Bill No. 1315, currently under review by the French National Assembly, introduces a provision for the mandatory itemisation of eco-modulated fees in business-to-business transactions.
If adopted, this measure would require companies to clearly separate EPR-related charges on invoices issued to other businesses. The goal is to improve transparency and traceability in environmental compliance, ensuring that these costs are visible throughout the supply chain.
At this stage, the bill is not yet in force and remains subject to parliamentary debate. UKFT will provide member guidance when this requirement becomes mandatory.
UKFT is closely monitoring the progress of this bill and will provide updates as developments occur. Members with questions about EPR invoicing or broader compliance obligations can contact compliance@ukft.org
