There is a strong line-up of UK fashion brands on show at the various events that make up Berlin Fashion Week including Panorama, Neonyt, Selvedge Run & Zeitgeist, Premium, Show + Order and Seek.
Traditionally, Berlin Fashion Week attracts an international audience and is a major player in northern European fashion scene. Selvedge Run and Seek in particular are popular with buyers from all over Europe, the USA and Japan, especially because of the presence of heritage brands. The other shows are more European in their overall appeal and many of the stands are run by German agents, also covering the German-speaking markets of Switzerland and Austria.
Panorama, Premium and Show and Order are particularly popular with buyers and agents from Germany and the rest of northern Europe. Neonyt is the world’s largest sustainable fashion event.
This season, Brakeburn and Tom Joule will be showcasing their latest collections at Panaorama, while brands including French Connection, Hunter, Pretty Ballerinas, Ragyard and Rh45 will be at Premium and Show & Order. Visitors can view new ranges from Bluebuck, Komodo, KuSan and People Tree at Neonyt, as well as Peregrine, Simmons Bilt and Walsh footwear at Selvedge Run & Zeitgeist.
The largest concentration of UK brands can be seen at Seek, including & Sons, Beaumont Organic, Ben Sherman, Brooks England, Consigned, Dubbleware, Guapa, Heimat, Kangol, Luke 1977, Lyle and Scott, Native Youth, Oliver Spencer, Pray and Universal Works.
The UK group in Berlin is co-ordinated by the UK Fashion and Textile Association (UKFT) and supported by the Department for International Trade (DIT). Contact exports@ukft.org for more details.
