Compliance and corporate sustainability teams from UK fashion and textile companies are invited to join UKFT’s Sustainability 101 Webinar ‘An introduction to greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting” hosted with Envantage.
Taking place on 26 June from 11am to 12pm, the webinar will outline the fundamentals of carbon accounting for businesses and sustainability professionals in the fashion and textile industry. This session will explore the purpose of GHG accounting and unpack essential “carbon jargon”. Attendees will gain insights into widely used carbon accounting frameworks and learn how to apply GHG accounting methods across:
Scope 1 (direct operations)
Scope 2 (indirect emissions from electricity, heat, and steam consumption)
Scope 3 (indirect emissions from the value chain).
The webinar will also cover the basics of calculating a Product Carbon Footprint.
