Sophia Yang is an award-winning climate justice and fashion change-maker. She’s a Senior Corporate Campaigner at Canopy, collaborating with leading fashion brands on sustainable material sourcing and supply chain integration. As the Founder of Threading Change, Sophia also leads a for-youth, by-youth ethical fashion organization that champions fashion education, policy engagement, and profiling SMEs through their story map, aiming to build an equitable, youth-driven, and climate-resilient fashion industry.
Sophia’s accolades include the City of Vancouver’s Greenest City Leadership Award (2022), being named a Corporate Knights’ 2021 30 Under 30 Leader, BC Business 2025 30 Under 30 Leader, and Starfish Canada’s Top 25 Under 25 in 2017 and 2018.
