Are you looking to grow your B2C international ecommerce sales?
UKFT MEMBER WEBINAR
On 17 February at 10am, UKFT will be joined by Global-e to discuss solutions and strategies to help UK fashion and textile brands increase B2C ecommerce sales to the EU and further afield.
Global-e enables ecommerce retailers and brands to provide customers in more than 200 destinations worldwide with a seamless, localised shopping experience. The company works with hundreds of brands, including Marks & Spencer, Johnstons of Elgin, Harvey Nichols, Hackett, and Never Fully Dressed, helping them to remove barriers to converting international visitors and boosting global sales.
We’ll get an overview of how the system works, particularly in light of the UK’s exit from the EU, with a chance to ask questions at the end.
Global-e’s end-to-end localisation help brands to:
- Make customers feel at home – reduces bounce rates by welcoming international customers with a localised message, giving them the assurance to buy.
- Display prices in local currencies – more than 100 currencies are supported, allowing customers to shop in their local currency. Prices are rounded according to common pricing conventions in each country.
- Offer international shipping at competitive rates – allows customers to choose from multiple shipping options. Shipping propositions can be easily adjusted to the common prices in each market.
- Calculate duties and taxes for customers – present customers with an accurate calculation of all duties and taxes and enable them to prepay at checkout. This is proven to increase customer satisfaction and reduce returns.
- Accept local payment methods – increase conversions by allowing customers to pay with their preferred payment method. More than 150 local and alternative payment methods are supported and presented to customers based on their geo-location.
Global-e has a minimum threshold of around £50,000 export sales so this would not be suitable for brands just starting out on their export journey.
