UKFT guide to the EU Waste Framework Directive

UKFT has published a new member guide covering the updates to the EU Waste Framework Directive (WFD), including the introduction of mandatory Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) for textiles and footwear.
The guide outlines the 2025 amendments, including the products in scope, who qualifies as a producer, registration and reporting obligations, eco-modulated fees, waste holder responsibilities and Member State obligations.
