UKFT member Cashmere Circle is a specialist in invisible cashmere repair. It offers revival, laundering, recycling and care services to extend garment lifecycles and divert waste. Founded in 2019 by industry veteran Belinda Robertson, it partners with luxury brands and consumers whilst preserving artisanal repair skills through its online training programme.

Invisible cashmere repair services are at the heart of its offering. Its growing partnership portfolio includes leading British luxury brands such as Johnstons of Elgin, Begg & Co, Chinti & Parker and Connolly England, showcasing the commercial viability of integrating repair into brand strategies.

Its expert craftsmanship ensures repairs are fully invisible, protecting both garment integrity and brand reputation. For partners, this creates revenue opportunities through premium repair fees, increased store footfall and customer lifetime value.

Cashmere Circle has grown over 150% in the past few months. “A notable spike in direct customer repairs for ultra-luxury brands like Brunello Cucinelli and Loro Piana signals growing consumer demand for expert care services”, explained Cashmere Circle.

It also offers circular economy solutions to luxury cashmere brands, turning compliance obligations into competitive advantages. This includes an in-store drop-off repair model creating an infrastructure for Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance. Integrating repair services into retail environments allows brands to demonstrate measurable circular economy commitments and offer a seamless customer experience.

In addition, Cashmere Circle is actively exploring deadstock management programs that repurpose excess materials and end-of-life garment collection initiatives that close the loop on cashmere production.

In partnership with Huddersfield University, Cashmere Circle has quantified the carbon impact of repair vs replacement, providing brands with data to support sustainability reporting and customer communications. This evidence-based approach turns repair into a measurable environmental intervention.

Cashmere Circle said: “For certified B Corporations like Johnstons of Elgin, circular economy practices are no longer optional – they’re foundational requirements under the 2025 B Lab Standards. We understand these compliance frameworks and designs partnerships that support recertification whilst driving commercial value.”

“Through revenue-sharing models, premium pricing strategies, and customer engagement programs, we help brands build circular economy practices that strengthen both bottom lines and environmental impact.”
