Kirsty McDougall Textile Design has a wealth of experience in design development for a broad variety of clients. Projects range from woven fabric development for the most renowned couture and fashion houses to developing bespoke interior products.
The studio is excellently equipped to produce handwoven meterage in a series of weights using a diverse range of materials. They have the capacity and expertise to conduct experimental research using new and sustainable materials and are open to collaboration with designers, architects, education, artists and scientists to find material solutions on all scales.
Kirsty McDougall Textile Design has worked in consultancy with a number of mills globally and offers industrial production solutions for clients. They work with both jacquard and dobby manufacturers for apparel and interior, designing collections for specific markets.
The studio produces a dynamic and inspirational woven collection for fashion and interior which is sold globally. More recently, the studio has expanded to include ReWeave, a system of recycling fashion industry fabric waste into specialist woven cloths to create new design-led textiles.
