Children’s clothing brand Blade and Rose launches first Paddington collection | UKFT member spotlight

UKFT member Blade and Rose is releasing its second-ever licensed collection this October, celebrating Paddington’s 65th anniversary, soon after winning the Absolutely Mama Gold Award for the Best Children’s Fashion Brand in August 2023. Scroll down to find out more.
UKFT member Blade and Rose is a UK children’s clothing brand founded in 2010 by husband-and-wife Amanda and Jon Peffer. Based in the Lake District, the brand offers a wide range of clothes and accessories featuring fun designs and prints for babies and children aged 0 to 4+. Blade and Rose’s products are all compliant with Oeko-Tex Standard 100, to ensure they are safe for babies and children and do not contain harmful chemicals or substances.
The brand is launching its very first Paddington apparel collection in October 2023, celebrating the 65th anniversary of British writer Michael Bond’s iconic character. Rachel Clarke, from the SVP Licensing & Retail UK, The Copyrights Group (a STUDIOCANAL company) commented:
“We are delighted to expand our baby apparel offering for Paddington with this lovely collection from Blade and Rose. We look forward to seeing little cubs everywhere go on many adventures in their new Paddington leggings.”

The brand won the ‘Gift of the Year Award’ in 2022 for its first-ever licensed collection dedicated to another well-loved British character, Peter Rabbit. Amanda Peffer, Blade and Rose’s Owner, said:

This is an exciting year for Blade and Rose, that is releasing its second licensed collection in addition to winning the lifestyle and parenting magazine Absolutely Mama’s Gold Award for the Best Children’s Fashion Brand category in August 2023.
