Blade & Rose is a leading multi-award winning British children’s fashion brand, instantly recognisable for its fun and quirky signature leggings.
Named after her children, the company was founded by Amanda Peffer in 2010 whilst on maternity leave. The inspiration behind the original Blade & Rose leggings came from Amanda’s own experience with baby clothing, having to constantly pull down her crawling three-month-old daughter’s dresses to cover her bottom. This, coupled with a lack of interesting legging designs on the market at the time, inspired Amanda to start Blade & Rose.
New collections and collaborations for Autumn/Winter
Blade & Rose’s new Autumn/Winter collection aims to bring a sprinkle of magic to the everyday:
“The new Autumn / Winter range transports us to the farm and land of make-believe with exquisitely designed characters brought to life on our classic leggings and tops with our trademark vibrancy. This season welcomes Bailey the Cow, the Honey Bee, Arctic friends, Tim the Pirate and It’s Just a Fairytale Collection which is designed to bring joy, wonder, and a sprinkle of magic to everyday life.”
The brand is set to launch several new licenced collaborations before the end of the year, including:
- The beloved British children’s picture book character the Gruffalo, which offers an array of quirky and colourful items.
- New additions to Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit design to the Blade & Rose highly acclaimed collaboration. This new collection is called ‘Relaxing in the Woodland’.
- A new collaboration with Miffy the tiny rabbit, which came straight out of the imagination of Dutch artist Dick Bruna in 1953.
- A unique partnership with Moominvalley, celebrating timeless charm and imagination.
All of the latest collections and collaborations at Blade & Rose revolve around the signature leggings, which are the core and unique selling point of the brand.
